About Us

In our contracting department, we work with contracting assignments and projects for our customers in construction. We are now looking for the right person to continue developing our business forward.

The department in Gävle is part of the Southern Norrland Region at Granitor Electro. We are a department that delivers electrical and technical solutions primarily within contracting. We have many long-term customer contacts and a drive to continuously develop new solutions to meet our customers' needs. Our long-term goal is to continue a stable development with our customers and employees in focus.

Responsibilities

• Drive projects from design to finished product
• Tendering, costing, and project planning
• Staff project assignments and lead, develop, and motivate employees
• Proactively work with existing and new customers
• Be responsible for the financial results of the project
• Deliver and drive projects within established budget and timeline
• Quality assurance, documentation, and project follow-up

Experience and Competence

We are looking broadly for this role and place great emphasis on personal qualities and are interested in both those with extensive experience in driving contracting projects with good results and those who want to develop and step up from their current role.

You have good communication skills and good knowledge of Swedish both spoken and written as it is needed in daily work. We also prefer that you are proficient in English in your work, and additional languages are an advantage.

You have good system skills, and working with digital tools such as Office365, Unit4, Wikells, and BlueBeam motivates you, and you have an interest in making things smarter. To thrive in the role of project manager, you need to have the ability to collaborate and create good relationships with both customers and suppliers as well as employees and colleagues. As a person, you are driven by achieving results, take responsibility, and can structure and plan your work well.

We are looking for a business-driven leader who, like us, believes that leadership is both about being able to lead oneself and at the same time creating an organization that allows people around you to develop and have the conditions to succeed.

Requirements:

• Relevant electrical engineering education.
• Preferably experience as a project manager or similar role
• Good data and system skills
• Good knowledge of Office 365 and Excel
• Driver's license B

It is advantageous if you have experience in electrical installation/contracting/construction industry, preferably in a leading role. Experience in financial follow-up in projects and handling of changes is also beneficial. Knowledge of contracting law is a plus.

Other

Travel is required in the job as we work both locally and there may also be projects in other locations.
